INTERNET BULLYING!

Youth probably are the ones who always wanted explorations. Out of curiosity, they have found connections with other friends via internet access. But we can also say that it is the worst thing wherein they can bully their enemies and foes. With the click of a key, bullies can humiliate their peers and they can already spread hearsays and insensitive photos edited by them perhaps.
The act of humiliation, rumors, threats, gossips – are nothing new. But among today's adolescents - a generation of instant messengers, always connected, always wired - bullies are starting to move beyond slam books and whisper campaigns to e-mail, websites, chat rooms, and forums. This may include projection, false criticism and patronizing sarcasm whilst contributing nothing of any value. If we will try to figure it out internet bullying has a few idiosyncrasies. Websites and screen names give bullies a mask of anonymity if they wish it, making them difficult to trace. It gives the people pressure to extend harassments throughout the world. People who bully are adept at creating conflict between those who would otherwise pool negative information about them. The method of creating conflict is provocation which bullies delight in because they know they can always coerce at least one person to respond in a manner which can then be distorted and used to further flame and inflame people. And so it goes on. The bully then sits back and gains gratification from seeing others engage in destructive behavior towards each other. Nowadays, we can experience this kind of things, not only through words but also through photography and videos. Even friendly sites have been a foul site for others too, for example is Friendster, it’s actual purpose is to let you connected with your relatives and find new friends but some use this to torment others. Youtube has been a good website to watch movies so you will no longer bought dvd and vcd copies, it also allows you to share the captured moments in activities or programs or even promote an estate or what, but the so-called bullies use this site to let somebody see harassments, crimes especially in the field of sexual exploration. Really it was saddest part of the social networks who only wanted to emphasize genuine friendships.
This act had been widespread, teenagers had been victims and maybe this is the reason why the school had implemented a rule which will give punishments who violates internet bullying, particularly in provoking an Assumptan whether a student or personnel and anything that can lead destructing images for the school. In this research, we also want to find answers why some had committed the said act, and if some of us had been victims and why. Thus, we can comfort those who had been victims, warn them and give techniques to fight over cyber bullying such as: report incidents happening, don't engage, respond and interact in the bully, and talk about the issues surrounding bullying at school and at home.
